Success

Today, I feel so alive. I love days like this. When you feel happy for no reason other than "just because;" When you are grateful, because it feels good. That is success for me. Today, I am successful. For no good reason other than "just because."

Nice to talk to you again.

Down Under

On my 28th Birthday, I received a book. Within it, I was asked to write down a place that I've always dreamed of visiting. I wrote down Australia...

Almost two years later, that dream is manifesting... I have chills as I type this.

My show 'Inside the Cup' has been made an official selection of the Perth Fringe Festival in Western Australia! I will travel there early next year to participate.

I have set up a campaign on Indiegogo in order to raise funds to travel to and stay in Perth, you can click here to view it. I am so excited, and I can't wait to go... this is a truly divine manifestation for so many reasons. I'll tell you more later.

Peace and blessings to you,

Aaron

Too Humble(Hello Again)...

Much time has passed since last I updated my blog... but hey, I guess that's life right?

Well, here we are in October, heading into the last few months of what has been a mind-blowing year for me. I'll go into more detail about it at a later time, but I will say that I've never been closer to my dreams in my entire life. The process of writing, performing, and producing my own show has brought me an abundance of lessons; many of which I can't wait to share with you.

Fantastic Ride of Life

I am amazed by life's subtle synchronicities, and how split-second "hunches" will put you exactly where you need to be...

When I was in Boston in May, after stepping off of the exotic MEGABUS, I decided to take a different exit out of the bus station. Before we go any further, I also need to tell you that my bus got caught in heavy traffic, so I arrived about 20 minutes later than anticipated in Boston. Okay, so I got of the bus, and I decided to take a different exit. I don't know why I decided to switch things up, but I love to try new things, so I went with my hunch. I took the stairs down and out to the side exit(instead of taking the escalator to the main exit), and I went out the side door. When I was on the street, I saw a police officer and a bomb-sniffing dog inspecting the perimiter of the bus station. The dog was a beautiful German Shepherd, so I paused to take a good look at it, then continued on my way...

I walked another five steps, when a familiar face caught my eye; It was a good friend of mine from college whom I hadn't seen in almost four years. He was just as shocked as I was to see him out of nowhere. We caught up and without going into too much detail. He "planted a creative seed of opportunity" in my head that could REALLY turn into something.
Had my bus not been late, or if I had not decided to take the different exit, and pause to look at the dog, I would have missed him and all that he had to share with me...

This is a playful Universe that wants you to succeed, and that wants to surprise you. Open yourself up to receiving its subtle pushes. Do not be so fixed, rigid, or busy that you cannot pause to appreciate a beautiful animal, or any type of glorious creation. Who knows what opportunities will reveal themselves to you when you do.

All my love,

Aaron

Fluidity & Detachment

June has brought me amazing lessons on the ideas of fluidity and detachment. Recently, I came to the realization that my attachments to thoughts, labels, routines, regimens, diets, rituals, and all the like, should never be completely fixed and rigid. When a person becomes attached to a label (Spiritual, Straight, Vegan, etc), beyond a level of indication, what is behind that? Is it really about the flourishing of the spirit within. Or is it about the EGO? Getting cool points for being engaged in all of these cool groups and practices?
